Better drawn now and this is a lot easier. ULTIMATE DEAL (Glen Goodwin): First starter by Collision out of Megabrooke Sue. RIGGS (Loretta Rice): Not a quick beginner and managed a place only once in 7 starts. Failed twice here last month. Tested again. GOONIE'S GOLD (Graeme Hughes): Faced moderate opposition when battling 4 lens 2nd in slow 31.01 at Nowra Jan 29. Can show pace but this middle alley does not help. Will be afforded no mistakes. MYSTIQUE STREAK (Allan Muir): First starter by Carnage out of Mystique Vox. MISS RHONDA (Joe Bertinato): Out of a place and beaten by clear margins in each of 5 starts incl 2 here. Cannot recommend. DREAM FOLLOWER (Lynette Tsohalis): Old stager which has a poor strike rate. Always well back when 18 lens last in 30.36 at WP Jan 7. Looking to others. APACHE WILD FIRE (Ricky Bourke): Back from a long break when 16 lens last of 4 in 30.95 WP S/Trial Jan 19. Followed with 21 lens 6th in 29.90 here Jan 31. Talented but take on trust. JEFF HAND (Richard Dean): Top grade city sprinter which is new here. Placed only once in 3 starts since landing 30.18 (best) win at WP Jan 14 but pitched into this on grade. Clearly the one to beat. WATTA TROOPER (Margaret Greer): Outpaced early and finished 4 lens 5th in 30.44 at Gosford Jan 22 at first start back from a break. Awkwardly drawn, new here and this looks too tough. YALLAH FLIGHT (Rose Parrish): Safely held when 9 1/2 lens 4th in 30.31 here Jan 31. Mixes box manners yet has won here in 30.28. Trifecta chance. ELUSIVE SPIRIT (Mick Player): Unable to break through in easier class at Nowra and Goulburn in recent weeks. Looking to others. SASSY REBEL (Melissa Dalzell): No threat when 8 1/2 lens 2nd in 30.31 here Jan 31. Beaten on merit when 4th in 31.11 on a bog track at WP Feb 4. Handily drawn and should not be far away at any stage. KUMTA RUMBA (Wally Lutiger): Back from an extended break when 13 lens 7th in 34.82 here Jan 31. Landed 35.00 win here Aug 16 but will need to find very best form to test this lot. OUR MADDIE CLAY (Craig Faber): Lacks early speed and managed only 1 win from 17 starts. Well held in each of three local outings over 520m. This looks too tough. GOOD AREAS (John Deeks): Back in distance after battling 3 1/2 lens 3rd in 43.04 at Richmond Dec 31. Latest box manners have been solid but awkwardly drawn and this is not easy. NAOMI CEE (Alan Croker): Outclassed when 6 3/4 lens 6th in 30.43 at WP Jan 28. Untried at this longer trip yet locally trained and offers value for multiples. BOMBER FIFTY TWO (Craig Faber): Always well back when 11 lens 7th in 30.31 here Jan 31. Not managed a win for 8 months and preferred in something easier. STRIPED (Laszlo Schaumann): Could not have been more impressive when 34.68 (best) winner here Jan 24. Unable to lead from box 4 and dropped out to finish poor 14 lens last in 34.82 here Jan 31. This is easier and can make amends. CHITTAWAY LAD (Olga Vassilakis): Lacks early speed and managed only 1 win from 20 starts. Cannot recommend.
RACE 9 MYALLA DANCER (Stephen Cleary): Quickly led from box 6 and landed 24.81 Lithgow maiden win Jan 26. Rises in class yet has pace and commands respect. ALL DARKNESS (James McFarlane): Had box 1 when battling 2 1/2 lens 3rd in 17.09 here Jan 31. Wins have been well spaced and this is not easy. Minor claims best again. COWGIRL TASH (Tony Swan): Speedy customer which landed 20.86 win at Nowra Feb 4. Locally trained and well placed near the rails. The testing material. JONEBOY (John Moore): Grabbed on the line when head 2nd in 17.09 here Jan 31 after leading from box-rise. Made amends with 17.17 win at Lithgow Feb 2. Awkwardly drawn but has the talented to take this out. FIERY COWGIRL (Tony Swan): Made the pace from box 7 and landed 20.88 Nowra win Jan 28. Awkwardly drawn in a smart field yet has a turn of foot and commands respect. WILD DOLLAR (Frank Sanotti): Always well back when 10 lens 7th in 17.09 here Jan 31 when resuming from a break. This is even tougher. Others preferred. WATTA CASE (Margaret Greer): Results have been mixed since landing 16.97 win in top grade at Lithgow Dec 16. JUMPING BLACK (David Durrant): Safely held when 8 lens 3rd in 30.46 here Dec 8 and now resuming. Faces some promising types but has won here in 30.34 and should not be underestimated. SUEWENDY WONG (Robert Arnold): Old stager which has not managed a win for 11 months. This looks too tough. YALLAH DELTA (George Micallef): Beaten on merit when 9 1/4 lens 3rd in 30.31 here Jan 31. Awkwardly drawn yet latest results have been consistent. Offers value for multiples. ELUSIVE THUNDER (Wally Lutiger): Landed 30.19 all-the-way win here Jan 24 and followed with 30.69 win here Jan 31. This has a little more depth but tough to beat given a little room to move early on. HARRY'S LAD (Leon Jakobasic): Finished strongly to post 25.77 win at Canberra Feb 3. Usually a reliable beginner but new here. Place preferred. SUPER HAND (Richard Dean): Speedy customer which has struggled at WP in recent weeks. New here yet has the dash to lead.
